Byron Bay Chiropractic Centre is now offering an Xray Bank service to its clients for digital Xray storage and patient history on our server.
Each Customer will have a unique username and password to allow them to access their records at any time from any location world wide.
This service is available for an initial set-up fee of $25 to create your profile and load your information and thereafter it will be free. Xrays will be stored in your personal file.
Great for Travellers
Accessible from anywhere in the world - for travellers this is a great service as you never know when you may need a chiropractic adjustment.
Keep your Xrays safe
Xrays will be stored digitally and therefore will not deteriorate over time. Xrays are stored as jpeg files (like photographs). Your Xrays may be obtained in this format from the Xray clinic or your existing Xrays may be scanned and saved as jpeg files. This is necessary because xray films degenerate with time especially in a humid environment such as Byron Bay.
Essential for people needing regular care
If you are on a regular care program then you can continue this program as you travel since you can have full access to your xrays from anywhere in the world.
Xray Storage Online for other Professionals
This service is available to all Wellness Practitioners and their patients who need to safely store xrays.
Xray Storage for Free
If you choose, your xays can become part of a bigger database specially available for research. Research bodies need this kind of long-term data and are willing to pay for access to such information . This is how the service would pay for itself and be free to you after the initial setup. In this case all identifying information would be removed and only the images and your anonymous history would be stored in a parallel database. Access to this database would only be through our control and approval protocol. You can also choose not to be part of this program and pay an annual fee of $25 pa. auto-renewed each year by credit card.
This service is to be generally available to non-clients and the public also.
